For this exotic fruit flambe you need:
Any fruit ( banana, mango, or pineapple)
50 gr of butter
50 ml of rum/brandy
100 ml of orange juice
Vanilla ice cream
Step 1: Peel and cut the fruit in half, if you are using pineapple then make circles.
Step 2: Melt 1/3 of the butter in the pan and fry the fruit on both sides for 2-3 min
Step 3: Pour rum or brandy over the bananas, light it on fire ( be careful) and fry for 2-3 min.
Step 4: Place the bananas on a plate ( make an island like in the video) It might be harder to make that with other fruit, but you can use your imagination 😉
Step 5: Prepare the orange sauce. Melt the remaining butter with orange juice
Step 6: Pour the sauce over the bananas
Step 7: Serve vanilla ice cream next to warm bananas.
